Sound Character

The Yamaha U2A is celebrated for its warm, rich, and beautifully balanced sound. Its taller cabinet and longer strings provide greater resonance and projection than smaller upright pianos.

It delivers:

• Deep, resonant bass
• Warm and expressive midrange
• Bright, singing treble
• Excellent sustain
• Wide dynamic range
• Balanced tonal projection

The U2A performs beautifully across classical, jazz, contemporary, worship, and popular music, making it a versatile instrument for both study and performance.

Professional Performance

The Yamaha Precision Upright Action provides:

• Fast and accurate key repetition
• Smooth, responsive touch
• Excellent expressive control
• Consistent performance across all 88 keys

The 127 cm cabinet produces a fuller sound than a U1 while remaining more compact than a U3, making the U2A an excellent choice where both sound quality and space are important.

Renewed Excellence

Every renewed Yamaha U2A undergoes a meticulous restoration process, including:

• Cabinet refinishing and polishing
• Action regulation and adjustment
• Hammer reshaping and voicing
• Keyboard leveling and alignment
