Why Choose the GP188A?

Professional 6'2" Size

At 188 cm, the GP188A sits in an ideal range for players who want substantially more tonal depth and projection than a small baby grand, while remaining more practical than a full concert grand.

Rich, Powerful Tone

The longer design allows for a larger soundboard and carefully positioned bridges, helping the piano produce greater volume, resonance, tonal depth and projection.

German Röslau Strings

The GP188A uses German Röslau piano wire, with copper-wound bass strings, contributing to its tonal response and projection.

Premium Soundboard Construction

The GP188A features an all-spruce soundboard construction, an important component in producing the instrument's resonance and tonal character.

19-Ply Maple Pinblock

The cross-banded 19-ply maple pinblock provides a strong foundation for the tuning pins and contributes to tuning stability.

Elegant Polished Ebony Finish

The high-gloss black finish gives the GP188A a classic appearance suitable for modern homes, villas, music studios, schools and performance environments.
